Hugo Miller
Tutor - Guitar
Hugo is a 3rd-year Computer Science and Philosophy student at the University of Western Australia. He has taken music classes as broadening units in his degree and has been playing guitar for around 6 years.
Initially, Hugo started with classical piano. Over time his music taste led him towards the guitar. Since picking it up, Hugo has thoroughly enjoyed the progress and results he has achieved through consistent practice.
For Hugo, playing the guitar has opened up new opportunities to connect with others, as he has played in 3 bands and frequently jams with friends/family. It has started an aspiration to create/share his own music and has become a productive outlet to relax and unwind after studying and attending to his other responsibilities.
The fun and personal connection Hugo has with music can give younger students an engaging learning process. He is grateful to have had the opportunity to learn guitar with the right mentorship, as it has been a crucial component of his development, and he would love to share the same experience and skills with others.
